Time for the WEEKEND UPDATE….sorry it's a bit late today. Hey, I am up in the mountains, outside of Yosemite. Had to come to town to find some internet.
My Pick of the Week is this Saturday, (wish I could be there) at one of my favorite galleries in Venice. G2 Gallery, (1503 Abbot Kinney), is having a reception for Brian Skerry, a brilliant National Geographic photographer. Skerry, specializes in underwater photography and his images are breathtaking.
This event takes place from 6:30 pm till 9:00 pm. Yes it does cost a mere $5.00, but this happens to be a fundraiser for Heal the Bay, and it’s a great cause. Also there is always wine and refreshments and appetizers too. Don’t forget to RSVP at email@example.com.
BTW…. Carnevale Venice Beach! is cancelled. Yes it was scheduled for June 4th, but I have been asked by the producers to post that it is indeed cancelled….BOOHOO. Check out their facebook page for all the details. It all boils down to the city’s ridiculously high permit fees!
